This picture was shot at sunrise during the photowalk to Parvati Hill in Pune.

Parvati Hill is a hillock in Pune having a Parvati temple atop it. It's one of the most scenic locations in Pune. It also has the Peshwa museum in it.

The temple is the oldest heritage structure in Pune and was built during the rule of the Peshwa dynasty. For visitors, Parvati hill is also an observation point that offers a panoramic view of Pune. It is the second highest point in Pune.

The hill has 108 steps (considered a holy number in Hinduism) leading to the top of the hill where the temple is situated.

Parvati Hill has 5 temples atop it:

• Devdeveshwar temple (Shiva and Parvati)
• Kartikeya Temple
• Vishnu Temple
• Vitthal Temple
• Rama Temple

Along with other temples of Surya (the sun) and Bhawani mandir The temples open at 5:00 am and close at 10:00 pm.
